It was an interesting experience. I definitely appreciated that they let people volunteer their names instead of being dragged on stage. The main issue I had was that instead of a comedy show, it felt like I was observing friends play games that I wasn’t involved in. And yes, some of them were funny, but honestly a lot of it was painful to watch. They offered free tickets for the next show, but my brother and I both agreed we did not want to spend another hour of our lives finding out if that show was going to be funnier than the one we went to. Even though a lot of it was all over the place and most jokes were not funny, it was a new experience. Everyone has different personalities, so it might be your cup of tea, if what I said is not interesting to you, I probably wouldn’t go.

SO. MUCH. FUN!!! Honestly this would be a weekly visit if we lived nearby!! The 7:30 family friendly show was on point - our 12 &13 year olds had just as much fun as the adults. Bex was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

One of best decisions I've ever made was attending my first Alchemy show the weekend I moved to GVL. I went from watching shows to attending some classes to joining the theater. It's a very safe and well run 3rd space. Highly recommend coming out to a show, especially the Friday night (8:30pm) show or Saturday (7pm) show.

Amazingly funny! Weekly shows every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30pm and 9pm. They even have an improv jam! Great local talent and performers.
