Today was my first time at Salon 527, and I’ll definitely be back! For me, service starts before I sit in the chair. When I called with a bunch of questions Alexis was sooooo helpful in helping me figure out my needs, and the energy matched when I walked in this morning. I felt welcomed immediately! As far as my stylist, Asiah, she was amazing start to finish, making sure to communicate with me every step of the way. So pleased with my install :) Overall, 10/10 experience. Everyone in the salon is so positive and helpful to each other. Definitely going to tell my friends about my new fav salon in Charlotte :)

I recently visited Salon 527 for my birthday hair and style since my regular stylist wasn’t available. On my first visit, I purchased hair and received a quick weave with a closure install. Everyone I encountered was very kind, professional, and welcoming, and the salon has a great atmosphere with really good quality hair. However, I did have concerns about the services. The closure from my first install had ripples and began sliding back fairly quickly. I returned after 8 days to address it and understand I was outside of the 7-day policy. During my second visit, I purchased another bundle and paid for a new install, along with fees for the extra bundle and takedown. The second stylist mentioned the original install was very loose, which made a maintenance appointment not possible and raised concerns about the foundation. As a new client, I felt there could have been a bit more flexibility with the additional charges given the condition of the first install and I expressed as much to the salon manager. Especially after spending over $1k in less than 2 weeks. The second stylist did try her hardest but unfortunately the closure was lifting on the second install within two weeks. For clarity, the photos attached are not the work of Salon 527—my regular stylist did my hair in those photos, but the hair used was purchased from Salon 527. Overall, while the quality of the installs wasn’t the best for me, I do believe their work may be better for customers requesting leave out. I appreciate the professionalism of the staff and would consider returning for their hair.

I had to come on here and share my experience at Salon 527 because WOW… just WOW 😍✨ From the moment I walked in, the energy was everything. The front desk was so warm and welcoming—it instantly set the tone. The entire salon felt like a whole vibe… everyone was happy, friendly, and the conversation had me laughing and engaged. Now let me talk about my stylist, Keonna👏🏽 She was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She was so kind, made me feel completely comfortable, and gave me such a thorough consultation. Not only did she listen, but she built my confidence instantly and made me feel like, “okay yes… I’m in the right hands.” And she was right! Keonna is a natural talent with truly gifted hands. You can tell she was born to do this. She was efficient, professional, and truly about her business. I got a traditional sew-in with a middle part and babyyyyy… when I say it came out BEAUTIFUL 😍🔥 it exceeded my expectations. The install is flawless and feels so natural—I’m obsessed! This was more than just a hair appointment, it was an experience. I left feeling confident, refreshed, and already planning my next visit. I can’t wait to go back—and trust me, you should definitely give Salon 527 and Keonna a try. You won’t be disappointed 💕

First time goingto this salon for a silk press based on the photos in their reviews. The results shown online looked smooth, silky, and well-executed, so I expected a similar outcome, especially for the price. Unfortunately, my experience did not match those expectations. My hair came out stiff, not silky at all, and lacked movement. It looked and felt nothing like a proper silk press. For what I paid, I expected an exceptional result, not something that felt rushed or poorly executed. I requested a refund due to dissatisfaction, and instead I was told to come back in so they could redo the silk press. I declined because that would require applying even more heat to my hair, which I felt was a bad suggestion and not in my best interest. At that point, trust was already lost. Based on the technique used and the final result, it did not seem like the stylist was well-versed in silk presses or followed the proper process. Overall, the service did not align with the salon’s advertised work or pricing.

Ami was very professional doing my hair. You can truly tell she has a true passion for hair! The service was very quick and I wasn’t even in the chair for a long time(which is a plus). A true walk-in salon for sure! 🩵 They get you in and out , but still care for your hair in the process. They also have hair extensions (Raw and Virgin Hair) on hand which is beneficial!
