❗️❗️❗️ HEED THIS WARNING ❗️❗️❗️ If you want to live, avoid this facility at all costs. You and your loved ones will not be taken seriously, and the outcome may be a worsened condition or even becoming a fatality. It took a while to compose and share this review. What happened to our family member is inexcusable. We were refused the correct phone number for the patient advocate and were told staff did not know it. The number posted on-site did not work. The ER doctors (a doctor who had a sling on his upper extremity and a male Indian doctor) we encountered were deeply concerning. A female ER nurse ignored our family member's plea for help. I entered in just in time to catch our family member who's side rail was down. A radiology technologist arrived during this time as this professional thought she lost her marker in the room. She witnessed the entire scene and yelled for help. The call button was not even in our family member's reach. I have the horrible memory of our family member being in distress and passing out. Being placed on Bi-PAP and in the ICU was the result. Though the respiratory supervisor had to argue with the ER doctor who was assigned to our family member as he stated he was going to discontinue the Bi-PAP and not send our loved one to ICU. Keep in mind our loved one was stable as EMS was thorough and even told the ER nurse our family member's condition of difficulty breathing on their own. I know because I was on video call as our family member had difficulty communicating and as one of our family member's health care agents, I had to relay vital information that our family member could not. One male Internal Medicine physician (Dr. Lee) discharged our elderly, ill family member prior to speaking with our family member. Even the nurse acknowledged this and was appalled. He eventually came to the room very briefly, less than a minute and was completely dismissive of our family member's medical concerns, told the our family member they had to leave and go home and he departed. Sadly, some of the nursing staff were absolutely horrible. They were apathetic, careless, and unprofessional. This medical facility must be thoroughly investigated. The majority of the medical professionals we encountered were incompetent, indifferent, and disengaged, literally playing on their shifts instead of providing care. The Respiratory, Radiology, Transportation, Food Services, and Environmental Services staff must be excluded from this review. Mrs./Ms. Michelle in Respiratory is exceptional and deserves recognition. Our family will be reporting this facility, along with specific physicians and nurses to the medical board. Shame on you. It would be a great disservice not to inform the public. Our family member expired, please protect yourselves and your loved ones and AVOID this facility. We are seriously contemplating going to the media to expose the reality of Bon Secours Downtown Greenville Hospital. May Almighty God repay one hundredfold.

This was the first time at this hospital, we brought in my father in law for an outpatient surgery. Amazing medical staff and check in staff. I even had a Doctor asked if I needed help. I left at sunset and took some photos of this amazing rendition of Christ. Truly inspiring. Thank you St. Francis Hospital for making this stressful journey a succes.

Words cannot express the profound gratitude my family and I feel toward the incredible medical team at St. Francis Downtown. After my father, Samuel Zayas, was stabilized at the emergency center, he was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) here in a very critical state. In those terrifying early morning hours, the care he received was nothing short of miraculous. I want to deeply thank RN Anthony B. for his exceptional vigilance during the night shift when my dad was at his most vulnerable. When the day shift took over, RN Kristy J., RN Pistorius E., RN Margaret T., and Dr. Matthew Nessmith stepped in with absolute brilliance. They didn’t just manage his medical plan and prepare him for his emergency cardiac catheterization; they held our hands through the process. They treated my father with the utmost dignity and spoke to us with a level of empathy and clarity that gave us peace when we needed it most. Thanks to their quick, precise actions, my father received his life-saving stent. Our gratitude also extends to the wonderful nurses, tech staff, and doctors on the medical/telemetry floor who took over his care after the ICU. From the moment he was moved to his room until the day he was safely discharged, every single person who walked through that door treated him like family. They kept him stable, comfortable, and thoroughly monitored. To the entire St. Francis Downtown team—from the intensive care heroes to the floor staff who celebrated his recovery and helped us navigate his discharge—thank you for saving my father’s life. You are a blessing to this community, and we will never forget what you did for our family.

Bin Secours gives a great experience. They showed they cared by making sure my numbers were correct before having my procedure. My nurse was great and kept up with me the entire time I was in preop and recovery. All of the doctors and nurses assisting in the procedure made sure I knew what was going to happen and made sure that I was receiving the care I came there for. I had an excellent experience.

St. Francis Downtown always shows spectacular and such elegant services every time I’ve had an experience with them. During this time I had a back and spine surgery and the staff from the time that my fiancé and I arrived they took care of of us and showed us nothing but great hospitality and service. Just know we were not alone during this time of going through a major surgery they were very extremely helpful, nice, kind, caring, thoughtful, polite, prayerful, and respectful people. Who welcomed us and treated us like family and was with us throughout the procedure checking in on my fiancé and I even after I got discharged. Thank You Bon Secours Staff & Team! P. S. Hopefully, 🙏🏾 I’ll be a part of your staff team again soon one day.
