Everyone at Complete K-9 has been incredibly kind and helpful. They have taken such care and patience with my sweet pup. I have a Great Dane and she was very scared and had a hard time focusing. With a couple weeks of training and reinforcing at home she is so much more obedient and confident now. She has really come out of her shell in the best way possible. I now take her to daycare there every so often just to help keep her socialized properly and recall her training and she always looks forward to it. I really couldn’t have done it without everyone there and it’s so nice to know she loves it there too♥️

We came to Complete K9 with a 12 week old German shepherd. She was extremely skiddish (to others), highly anxious, hated her crate, and had trouble listening. Within the first 2 weeks of training I knew we were at the right place. James and Coretta take a very balanced approach to dog training and I couldn’t be more thankful. They also ensure the owners know how to execute any and all training while home to ensure the dogs are getting the best reps possible. Our now 8 month old shepherd can heel off leash, can recall, place, stay, and also has way more confidence and curiosity while out and about. I cannot express my gratitude to Complete K9 enough. James, Coretta, and team truly care about the teaching of skills to the owner and dog. My pup now is fully engaged to me and our relationship couldn’t be better. We love training and cannot wait to learn more together! Even better, they offer a phenomenal daycare, grooming, or overnight boarding service which my pup loves!

I can’t recommend Complete K9 highly enough. From the moment we started (6 years ago), it was clear how much they genuinely care about both the dogs and their owners. Coretta’s training of our dog Casey was tailored to her specific needs and the results have been incredible. Casey loves both Coretta and James. The boarding experience is equally impressive—clean, safe, and well-managed. I always feel completely at ease leaving Casey in their care, knowing she will be treated like family. It’s such a relief to have a place I fully trust.

Lulu loves going to Complete K-9 Training Services. We were originally looking for a day care because we wanted Lulu to be more confident hanging out with other dogs before Christmas - when we would be with 2 other dogs. When we did our consultation, it was suggested that we need to address her anxiety - not just throw her in with other dogs. So, we signed up for the essentials class. She already had graduated from Petsmart beginner class, and we had started the intermediate program. She knew basic commands, but didn't always want to do them (she's a working dog mix and her blend is VERY independent). From the pre-training orientation calls and prep, through the training itself, to the social club group training after.... the experience with Complete K-9 has been wonderful. We have a WhatsApp group where we can ask questions and where Caitlin (our trainer) gives us updates of Lulu's activities. And then, when we'd go to our training session, Caitlin would answer all my crazy questions and give us feedback on what we were doing well and where we could improve. Lulu is now a much more enjoyable pup 4 months after adopting her from GCAC. She listens better (she still needs some corrections) and she can walk past barking dogs like they don't exist... and she can down stay as high energy dogs pass her on our walks. She even learned how to play with another dog and loved it. We've since been to 2 of the group classes, which are a great way to keep up her training and test her reactivity, and have her in daycare once/week on the weeks there isn't a group class so she can practice her skills. Plus, she LOVES going there and seeing Caitlin. I highly recommend Complete K-9! April UPDATE: We have been attending the social club group training every other week with the team, and that has proven to help Lulu shine. She can hang out with other dogs with ease these days. She still doesn't care for dogs barking at her from behind fences, but who can blame her! In addition to social club, we have her in daycare every other week- and Kinsey makes sure she has LOTS of play time with other pups. She gives us a report card that includes pictures and videos, so we can see Lulu's adventures during the day. I love that the daycare is specialized and that Kinsey selects the right dogs for Lulu. She's learned how to to play with different kinds of dogs- high energy, and low. And when I took her on a day trip with my friend who has a Tibetan Mastiff of low energy who doesn't usually care for dogs, Lulu was very respectful and they got along fantastically.
