Consistently since hiring Custom Maid last fall, we have had a wonderful experience. Every team member has been polite, professional and thorough. We are very pleased with this service.
RIP OFF! I live in a 1700sqft house. No clutter. Not a busy house at all. I do admit we have 4 dogs but we do a good job on cleaning up after them on our own. They were here for 3 hours... Nothing was done. Pictures posted are taken after they said they "were done". It was appalling. After talking to the office manager, she apologized and said it was important to them that they leave with the customer happy(which I wasn't). Then she would said the crew back the next morning to finish (technically to finish the job they should have already done). When they arrived the next morning, I said to stick to the common areas (I decided to do the bedrooms myself to cut down on time). It took them another 3 hours to do what they should have done yesterday. Here is the great part: they charged almost $300 for the first day for doing...I am not sure what. Then almost ANOTHER $300 to do the job they should have done yesterday! Do NOT hire a cleaning company that charges by the hour, they will take their time to rip you off. Hire a company that charges per room Photos: this was after they said they were done on the first day A main reason for frustration is that the last time I used a cleaning company was 5 years ago when we lived in 4200sqft house. It took 2 people 4 hours, and we had 5 dogs then PS. the company is trying to claim "that the house had a lot of dirt"... I do a top to bottom clean at least once a week. Due to that fact that I have broken ribs, I was not able to do it before my mom comes. When I do my whole house by myself, it takes 4 hours. We even cleaned before they came. It was apparent that the most difficult spots were avoided.
My wife and I have had the pleasure of using Custom Maid to clean our home for 9 years and we would not trade this company for anything. Their cleaning crew not only does an outstanding job, but they are extremely friendly and courteous. If you are a busy family and on the run with little to no time for cleaning like my wife and I, I would highly recommend you give this company a call and let them show you their professionalism and how they will leave your home spotless.
We've used many cleaning services in the Hampton Roads area over the last 25 years and typically after a couple of years the service quality dips and I find myself looking for a new company. I've been impressed with the consistency and quality of cleanings we get with Custom Maid and really appreciate that they usually send the same team of cleaners each week. This has allowed them to get to know our house better and really concentrate on the areas that need the most help. They're efficient and detailed and also respectful of our space. I work at home and also appreciate that they're professional and mindful of the noise, etc. They don't play music or chat loudly, which some other cleaners have done. Thank you Custom Maid!
