There is nothing else like this place. It’s the place that the service technicians go to get their stuff fixed. Very knowledgeable, very helpful. My AC went out about two weeks ago. I called the normal service company that I use to do my maintenance and repairs. They came out, checked some things in the house, took off the panel on the outside unit. The guy pressed on a contact and made the unit turn on for about five seconds and then immediately said “oh there’s your problem bad compressor. You need a new unit“ I proceeded to get prices from him ranging between $11-$17,000 !!! I then called three additional companies and they did not even want to come out, rather they just told me based on what the first guy said I should get a new unit and they all wanted to quote me prices on new systems. I was desperate, so I called down to the shop and told them what was going on and asked for help. Jim and Robert were very helpful and gave me some things to check and after a couple of calls they sent me two new capacitors to take a chance and see if it was something simple. Turns out that was it after all! Both capacitors plus shipping cost me less than 75 bucks! Four other service companies, including one that I have trusted all let me down and would not even consider trying to fix the unit. Shame on them, but thank goodness for Motors & Controls.

Went to the store and their customer service was phenomenal they explained tons of stuff to me and guided me to get the right parts at an awesome price ,very satisfied with my experience. Will 100% recommend to others

Been going here for years. They are absolutely great. Always looking out for DIY home owners and bending over backwards to make sure you get the parts you need, not the ones you think you need. Little tip, if you are not sure it's the capacitor or the motor, just bring both with you and they will get you sorted out. No games, no gimmicks. I can't believe I have not left a review before this.
