My friend and I wanted Filipino breakfast so he recommended this place and I'm so glad he did! We walked in and got in line to order. There were two people ahead of us and we probably waited about 5 minutes to have our order taken which is to be expected. The inside has beautiful decor, lots of pictures of food and vibrant colors and plenty of comfortable seating. We had some questions about the menu and the women taking our order was very helpful with everything. We ordered our food and were told to sit anywhere we like. We ordered an Elena's Mixed Plate 2 plate combo with Diniguan and Monggo Beans with Pork, it came with two scoops of rice. And we also ordered the March Special which had Pancit, Gisantes, Lechon and Pork Adobo Fried Omelet. The Diniguan was made perfectly! Not sour at all but just the perfect amount of flavor.. the Monggo Beans with Pork were cooked perfectly with delicious pork pieces inside. The March Special was such a good deal! The Pancit, made just right, thr Gisantes, spot on, thr Lechon, amazingly fried and the Pork Adibo Fried Omlete was absolutely delicious! Something i didnt know I needed! The rice was also cooked perfectly, not mushy or under cooked but just right! We got cups of water to drink and they brought us out two cups and a pitcher to refill our cups at the table which I can appreciate.. Overall such a great place with kind, friendly staff and amazing delicious food!

Great Filipino restaurant with authentic food. Large portions of adobo enough to eat your fill in the restaurant and take home a good portion. Had the chicken adobo with rice it came with 6-7 pcs of thigh and rice for only $14. They had Bibingka too and it was great.

My #1 fave Filipino food restaurant💯 Flavorful in each bite, tripleD is my go to! Don’t forget to ask for vinegar even though it has flavor without it🥰 U can have em with or without egg over the rice also🤙🏾 Thank you guys for always being sweet & making the food on point ALL THE TIME😁

The restaurant staff are arrogant, rude, and in desperate need of lesson on how customer service work should treat their patrons! As we we’re ordering, unfamiliar with the process due to being , first-timers, my partner ordered pinakbet, the cashier rudely pointed on their sign, sold out, no apologies, for running out of pinakbet at 10am! The waitress came to our table to deliver our order, no “hi” none…silence as if we don’t exist in front of her. My partner said, “thank you”, and the waitress just walked away ignoring us once more! The food is not spectacular, we’ve had better! Overall, it’s below average! Come visit if you want to be treated rudely! Tourists beware, this restaurant is not so special!

HIGHS: 1. a serving person brings your order to your table, unlike most no tip needed places with counters for ordering & picking up. 2. location is great —- a short walk from Skyline's transit station. LOWS: 1. don't order chicken adobo: no sauce, no peppercorns, not tasty, some very dark areas in my chicken pieces. no veggie at all. best chicken adobo --very tasty! -- on island is at Loco Moco in Koko Marina Hawaii Kai where the cooks & staff are Chinese folks! 2. ugh! big wall in dining room is an ad/wordage touting Elena's "greatness" -- in yo' face! color of this wall is NOT cheerful -- ugh! but maybe the color is nice to Elena's supportive clientele. 3. The Dinuguan was missing the Bay leaves, and the taste was bland and no where near any Dinuguan taste. I really would like to know where this people learn how to cook Filipino food. Also the many reviews that are anywhere close to 3 To 4 Stars are a little ridiculous.
