I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. I called in with an urgent issue and was impressed right from the start. The phone was answered immediately, they gathered my information quickly, and I had a scheduled time without any hassle. Ryan, the technician, showed up exactly when promised and gave me a courtesy call on the way so I knew he was close. From the moment he arrived, Ryan was professional, respectful, and very knowledgeable. He walked me through the situation step by step, explained exactly what needed to be done, and presented me with clear options and pricing before starting any work. I really appreciated how he took the time to make sure I understood everything instead of just rushing through it. The work itself was top-notch. Ryan worked efficiently, kept his workspace neat, and was careful to protect my home while getting the job done. Once finished, he double-checked everything, tested it in front of me, and made sure it was running perfectly. He even gave me a few helpful maintenance tips to prevent future issues. Not sure what we paid for. Came home Friday night to a dead ac and our landlord’s regular tech wasn’t available so called Fast Response. Tech showed up about 2 hours later and checked the ac unit and said we needed a capacitor and float switch. The tech didn’t have the parts on their truck so another tech was sent a couple of hours later (roughly 9:30pm at this point). Second tech showed up and had to be told three times what to replace and showed one paid invoice of what the previous tech had listed (capacitor and float switch) and this after the first tech told them over the phone what was needed. Second tech did mention he came straight from a party and I can’t say he was entirely sober. Second tech spent about 30 minutes outside and came back in and he had installed (will come back to this in a minute) a surge protector, something the first tech tried to upsell us on after claiming a thunderstorm probably caused a power surge. We’ve had zero thunderstorms in about 2 weeks and the unit was fine up to this point. Second tech leaves and the unit runs but shuts down over night. Our landlords tech was able to come Saturday morning and dove into the unit. The capacitor wasn’t replaced and you could clearly see it was old with peeling labels and very dirty (wasn’t even touched it seemed) and the surge protector we didn’t ask for was simply hanging from a box by the unit, wasn’t even mounted. The landlords tech found a clogged drain pipe, replaced the capacitor and a few other things and it has run tip top since. So $450 paid to Fast Response for what, we are not sure. Beware and seek out a reputable company that will do the work they charge you for.

Ryan was prompt and very knowledgeable and honest. It’s nice to have a honest technician that doesn’t try to sell you things you don’t need. He did a great job on my tune up. I would highly recommend Fast Response AC.
