Joe and his team at KFR will always be my fence contractor. Quality work with a competitive price. Excellent communication before the job for the quote and explaining my questions. He answered all my questions very well. Easy to work from start to finish. Very quick responses when I would contact him. They submitted the 811 requests. That went smooth and took 3 days. Materials were delivered nice and neat with no mess. His installer (Ryan) was great with communicating with me. Always cleaned up after himself. I took the time to watch the installer and saw that his attention to detail was very good. Our job was large and they kept to the schedule even with a little weather. I appreciate that Joe came out after the job to do a quality check before final payment. KFR will always be my first call. I also have no issues with being a reference if a potential customer wanted to get my opinion about working with KFR. Good job KFR.

I had a great experience with my fence replacement project. Joe was incredibly patient while I worked through the process of contacting my neighbors about the replacement. He took the time to explain everything in detail, answered all of my questions, and maintained excellent communication from start to finish. Martin did an outstanding job replacing the fence. He was professional and kept me informed throughout the entire process. The quality of his work exceeded my expectations, and the finished fence looks fantastic. I truly appreciate the professionalism, communication, and attention to detail from both Joe and Martin. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing fence work done.

We wanted to love our new fence, but unfortunately, our experience with Katy Fence Repair was plagued with issues from the very beginning of our project. I am sharing our experience as a cautionary tale for other homeowners. Inaccurate Initial Quote: The company provided an inaccurate quote based solely on satellite images without actually coming out to inspect our property. This oversight resulted in an unexpected additional cost of over $830 (though they did apply a $250 "courtesy" discount). Unresolved Gate Issues: The springs installed to close the gates never functioned properly. After multiple failed attempts to fix them, we were told on December 3rd that they could try spring-loaded hinges, but because they "didn’t build enough cost into the project" Poor Follow-Through: When I followed up on January 9th regarding the status of the hinges, I was told the issue was already resolved—even though the gates still did not close. We were told someone came out personally to fix them, but the gates remain broken to this day. Because the project wasn't quoted properly from the start, a structural defect has simply been left as our problem to deal with. Deflecting Responsibility: To make matters worse, when we reported that the top cap of the fence was already falling off, the company's response was to accuse us of pulling on it to open and close the gate. We only ever use the handle. If they were to actually come out to inspect the poor workmanship, they would see the nails did not go all the way through. It is incredibly disheartening to spend this much money on a professional service, only to be left with a failing gate, a falling top cap, and blame instead of solutions. Please protect your investment and be very cautious if you choose to hire them.
