The Golden Gate Nursery is fantastic! Great variety, everything you need in one place, and very decent prices! We were asked twice if we needed any help by the very friendly staff! This nursery is pretty large with different flowers, trees, shrubs, pots, and everything in between! If you’re in the area or in the need for some landscaping uplift - check them out!

I’ve been going to this place for a long time. On several occasions there were problems with the plants—diseased or infestation. They don’t warrant their plants so no returns or refunds. They deferred to the pesticide section where I am welcome to buy the product to treat the infestation issue. Unfortunately, I keep coming back because it is right in Naples and is very convenient. However, I stopped by last week and took a look at the nursery as a whole—not just the the plant I’m specifically looking for, but rather browser around. Couldn’t help but notice how rough many of the plants were. They looked diseased or dried out with splotchy leaves, black spot, yellowing, etc. One of the aisles had sprinklers scheduled, couldn’t help but notice the hoses were not setup for water to go into the pipes as designed. No wonder a lot of the plants were malnourished and drying out. Such oversight could be likened to mistake or maintenance needed; however, it is important to note, this is a nursery and it’s their specialty to care for the plants. If you end up going here for whatever reason, I recommend you look at the plant and see if it’s in good health, such as vibrant green leaves, not yellowing or signs of unwanted insects. I was too trusting. I was tired of settling and finally ventured out. I am so glad I drove the extra 30 minutes to Estero or Bonita Springs nurseries for better selection and service. The other nurseries were also able to do custom orders in case they don’t have it in stock. Thats what I’m used to, but Golden Gate Nursery does not. Farewell.

First time visiting Golden Gate Nursery off Collier Blvd and unfortunately it will likely be our last. When we walked in there were two men behind the desk. One asked if we needed help and I mentioned it was our first time visiting and that we were just looking around. I was there with my two children, and my son had picked up a hose nozzle we actually needed. Not even two minutes later, an older gentleman approached my son and told him to put the nozzle back. My husband stepped in and asked our son if that wasn’t the one we needed, confused as to why he had just been told to put it back. The interaction felt unnecessarily rude, especially toward a child who was simply holding an item we intended to purchase. It left a bad taste in our mouths and my husband decided we should just leave. Afterwards I noticed several other reviews mentioning a grumpy older man, and unfortunately that seemed to match our experience. Customer service goes a long way, especially for first-time visitors. Sadly we won’t be returning.

Golden Gate Nursery features a wide array of plants and other botanicals. I mean, the selection here is just great and definitely more than you can find in a typical Garden Center! They also feature some very fun parrots inside of the building! They also sell many varieties of fertilizers and mulch. The staff are knowledgeable and informed, which means they definitely know how to assist. Overall, if you are in the market for some plants or just like the ambience, Golden Gate Nursery is definitely recommended.
