I was pleasantly surprised. It was the first time visiting this clinic as my GP was fully booked out and I was concerned about waiting hours at the hospital. Very kind, professional, listened and ordered multiple tests on the spot.
The staff have always helped me here. I haven't had an issue with the doctors or nurses. They treat me well and I feel heard and understood and that's the way it should be ☺️ I'm glad this service exists to help people that need answers but don't need ER.
I had sliced open a quite sizeable chunk of my calf and needed stitches so I got a lift and attended the urgent care clinic, only to be told that they were ‘booked out’ for several hours and to go around the corner to the UFS on View Street (who, despite being very attentive), turns out are not able to do stitches. After trying the emergency department and calling the urgent care clinic again, I was told to come back the next morning. The guy who was behind the urgent care clinic desk needs urgent professional development! Pathetic.
