Fairview got its start in 2004 building inside The Cliffs communities, and high-end custom homes in that mold are still the core of the work: large residences suited to the mountain and lakeside settings north of Travelers Rest, out toward Lake Keowee and across the state line into Western North Carolina. The company takes a project from the first consultation and site analysis through design and construction, and handles luxury renovations as well, with an in-house interior designer on those.
It is a family business now in its second generation, founded by Steve Hamblan and run today by his sons Chris and Drew. Over roughly twenty years the team has delivered more than a hundred homes and earned over thirty-five Home Builders Association awards since 2018.
