Stayed for the weekend to enjoy an event downtown. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed the stay. room was cleaned. Bed was comfortable. Friendly staff. Pool wasn’t open due to a rope being broke and not fixed. We were looking forward to being by the pool but great stay overall .

Very sketchy place. Lots of homeless people walking around. Our shower wouldn’t drain properly. The rooms nor the place looked anything like the pictures online. We were inspecting the beds prior to us sleeping in them and found a gun under one of the mattresses. Turned out to be a BB gun (luckily). The cops were already at the hotel due to another incident at a different room, so they were able to get the gun for us. Cops were going back and forth all day and night. We felt very unsafe but couldn’t find another hotel room anywhere that didn’t cost an arm and a leg. The table in the room had a broken leg. The pool area was dirty so we never got in the water. Overall, we had a bad experience at the hotel and wouldn’t recommend it.

We choose this hotel because it was dog friendly at a reasonable price. The room was very clean and well appointed. The air freshener smell was a bit overwhelming but all in all it was a great value. Everything is nearby, which makes for a lot of traffic coming and going. We would stay there again.

I’ve stayed in a LOT of hotels along a spectrum from very questionable beach motels in 1970s Puerto Rico (don’t ask) to the literal Ritz Carlton. I have the same baseline standards no matter where - it is necessary that accommodations are clean, quiet, that the facility have courteous and helpful staff, and that management ensures that they fulfill any reasonable expectations and that they own any issues that arise and that they make it right with guests if there is a problem. This hotel, while not the Ritz, ;-), will provide you with very clean and comfortable rooms, a front desk staffed by Britney who was an absolute joy to encounter both at late at night and in the early morning. She has the overnight shift, which is notoriously the most difficult, so that is an huge tipoff about hotel employees fwiw. The continental breakfast was absolutely delicious and there were plenty of options. Coffee was piping hot and bottomless. No bugs at all (I check mattress seams and room corners when I first enter a hotel room btw- no hidden bugs even), no excessive noise, and other guests were never any problem. The pool was closed at this time of year (normal) but it looked properly maintained. They were renovating the backside of the property, so I would bet that they are making the accommodations even nicer for future guests. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who wants an excellent value for a stay in Greenville.

My company booked three rooms for my crew last night doing a commercial job Greenville, SC. They tried to check in at 6:00 p.m. and only two of them had their driver's license, my superintendants. They were GA driver's licenses and the man told them they had to be SC driver's licenses (not true). My guys were tired from working and turned away with complete racism. They are good, hard working guys!!! This job will be continuing for a while so they lost a lot of business with my company, will NOT be staying there or any other Baymont Wyndham. Will also be spreading the word to other workers on this large project. The manager started yelling at me when I told her we would not be paying for this and hung up. When I tried to call back, they just hang up on me. Tried calling corporate offices, good luck with that!
