My daughter's 22-year-old HVAC system stopped working during a 100-degree heat wave in Raleigh. Although she was enrolled in a maintenance plan with another company, it took over a week for a technician to come out. After finally arriving, we were told the motor had failed and that the replacement part could take anywhere from three days to three weeks to arrive. Later that same day, I happened to see a 6 & Fix truck in her neighborhood and spoke with Bobby Richardson about the situation. He took the time to listen and came out the very next morning. Bobby thoroughly explained the different HVAC systems they offer, along with financing options and warranty coverage, helping my daughter make an informed decision. She chose a Daikin system, and to our amazement, the installation was scheduled for the very next day. The technicians worked tirelessly through the extreme heat in her three-story townhome, which has a pull-down attic. Despite attic temperatures reaching nearly 130 degrees, they remained professional, hardworking, and committed to getting the job done right. The difference in comfort was noticeable immediately. A few days later, they returned to complete additional improvements, including installing new dampers and thermostats. Previously, the townhome had only one thermostat, which left the ground floor freezing while the third-floor bedrooms remained uncomfortably warm. Now, every floor is comfortable, and the third floor stays cool even during the hottest days. We cannot express how thrilled we are with the service, professionalism, and responsiveness of 6 & Fix. Bobby and his team turned a stressful situation into a positive experience, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest advice, quality workmanship, and exceptional customer service. Nick worked with us on the best value and best system for our home, he was very professional and a great communicator. His technicians worked quickly and efficiently. We had some emergency HVAC needs during the recent heat wave and 6 and Fix was there for us just like they’ve been in previous emergencies. But what set them apart this time around was that after we suffered a power outage leading up to our appointment, which set us back on repairs, they called to check on us and see how things were going. The price may be higher than some other service companies in the space, but the customer service is unmatched. John Michael, the tech who did the work, was also really thorough and efficient. Really great experience.

Had never used 6 and Fix before but they installed my daughter’s HVAC so on a very hot July day when my unit stopped working I called them. True to their advertisement, a well-trained and polite technician arrived that very same day! Ryan was able to quickly identify the problem and get my system up and running again. I am most grateful for prompt and excellent service!
