I've had nothing but great experiences with Comfort Monster. They installed a new HVAC system at my personal home and also maintain all of our rental properties. Over the years they've installed two complete systems for us, and every experience has been outstanding. Their pricing has always been competitive, but what really sets them apart is their service. They're honest, responsive, professional, and always go above and beyond to make sure everything is done right. It's hard to find a company you can trust with your own home and your investment properties, but Comfort Monster has earned that trust time and time again. I can't recommend them highly enough. If you're looking for quality workmanship, fair pricing, and exceptional customer service, Comfort Monster is the company to call.
TLDR: The initial install of our new heat pump was rough, but customer service was consistently positive and they did everything they could to make it right. We are now pleased with our new heat pump. -- June 2026 - Our upstairs furnace/AC needed to be replaced. Instead of just purchasing new units from our current service provider (who we love) we did our due diligence and shopped around. I read great reviews about Comfort Monster. A salesman came to our house and provided options that included a heat pump. We decided to make the switch (to a heat pump and to Comfort Monsters) because the sales pitch was so compelling. Our Monday install started at 9:30 am and ended about 8 pm. When the two installers left (nice guys - they literally worked all day in the hot attic) the heat pump wasn't working. They suggested something was wrong with the board in our new unit and that it would need to replaced the following day. When they left, it was 95 degrees on the second floor of our house on the second day of summer. On Tuesday, I received an automatically triggered invoice before someone even came to fix it our non-working brand new heat pump. (This is an issue with their software.) An installer (David) came that morning. When he left, the unit was cooling and he said it wasn't actually the board at all, it was an issue with the settings on the thermostat (a quick fix!) However, Tuesday evening, the air stopped working. On Wednesday, a service tech came by first thing in the morning and again messed with the settings and the unit has worked since. This tech, Jade (super great), also mentioned we needed to schedule someone to come by and finish the last steps to bring it up to code (which involves spray foam/screws and some other things.) To drop $13,000 on a new unit, have it immediately not work, and require 3 follow-up service visits was not the 5 star experience we were looking for. All of this work has since been resolved and the new unit continues to run, but this was a terrible amount of inconvenience/frustration that necessitated additional time where we had to be at home and not at work. Comfort Monster staff were kind throughout. They offered us an extended maintenance plan for the new unit and our OLD one (which was unexpected and nice). This was an extremely generous gesture. We are optimistic for the future of our relationship with Comfort Monsters and the life of our heat pump. We need to continue annual the maintenance plan to realize the full benefits of the 12 year-warranty so we are locked-in. We just didn't start off on the right foot. Comfort Monsters did everything they could to make it better - we just had a bit of initial bad luck on a hot day. I can recommend them for the fact that if something goes wrong, they'll fix it and make it right.

We've used Comfort Monster for a year now, and they've been great to work with every time. Prices are reasonable, and work is timely. Twice they've diagnosed and fixed issues (first the furnace, then replacing the entire HVAC unit) in a matter of days.
