Jay’s Heating and Cooling LLC provided outstanding service from start to finish. The AC unit cools extremely well and made an immediate difference in comfort. The technician was professional, knowledgeable, respectful, and took the time to explain everything clearly. The installation was smooth, clean, and on time. Gary is at the top of his game professionally and a real pleasure to work with! We are very lucky to have him on our side. Honestly, I didn’t expect to be charged for the diagnosis, since we just had a brand new HVAC installed (not cheap). And I can’t really comment on whether or not I think the price is fair, because in addition to the $101 diagnostic fee, repairing the problem will cost a minimum of $450 additional dollars ($551 if you include the diagnostic cost) and I suspect it will cost more that the estimate. However, Gary is pure gold! He’s so smart and friendly and hard working. I’m sure the cost of the additional repair is well earned, it’s just hard for us because our income is, well, limited, to say the least. Nevertheless, Jay’s has a loyal customer in our family. You can’t put a price on a company who has earned every bit of your trust. Thank you Gary and Jay’s Heating and Air!
This is the second time we’ve worked with Jay’s team! The first time they helped us was a couple years back, where they helped us in our previous home when our old A/C unit died in mid-July. We still remember how generous Jay was as he let us use a window unit in the meantime while we waited for the new A/C unit installation. Even with the second experience we had with them, we can say that we love their team! Jay and his team members, especially Kaitlyn, was very informative and professional with our new A/C unit installation. This experience was for a new unit installation (mini-split) in our garage, so we were not in a big rush to get the unit installed, yet we did appreciate how quickly and coordinated they were to get us on schedule as well! Much appreciation to his team! Thank you guys always, and we hope others who read this review can trust that his team is very knowledgeable, courteous, and communicative!
Fantastic services! Nic came out to evaluate and fix our AC and he was phenomenal! He was very knowledgeable, polite and fixed our AC in a timely manner! Even everyone I spoke to on the phone at the main office was friendly and super helpful! I highly recommend this company!
We actually had a bizarre problem. It was a bad connection between the outside unit and the circuit breaker. The screws were loose and it was arcing across the connection overheating the circuit breaker and blowing it, had to let it cool down then you could reset the breaker. The fix was to tighten the screws in the breaker and it’s been fine ever since.
