Hands down the best care we’ve ever received for our kids and ourselves, as caregivers! Amber has been an amazing therapist who has helped our kids with all things OT and emotional regulation. Both of our kids are neurodivergent. She’s helped them understand their emotions and the signals their bodies send them to recognize how they feel and how to manage those big feelings. She has also helped my husband and I understand our children and ourselves better; the way we receive the information from our kids and how we process it and respond. We’ve become a much more harmonious family because of her help. She’s not a typical OT who only does certain exercises and sends the kids home. She helps the children and parents have a better understanding of their physical, emotional and behavioral needs. Her services for caregivers have been a life savor for me and my family. Most offices don’t give much attention to the caregivers’ needs. But Amber sees and heals the whole family. We love and appreciate Amber and the Open Door Pediatric’s staff so much and highly recommend them.
Ok this is another review of ODPT, I left one on Google months ago. This in no way diminishes the way I feel or the improvement of my son since then. ODPT has been heaven sent for not only my son but my as a parent. The loving support I feel from the staff, especially from AMBER! They show they care through actions and that's important. My son receives OT and ST; started off non verbal....within a couple of years he is talking up a storm, expressing himself, and regulating himself with minimum help, and hand strength has improved immensely. My son loves going to therapy. ODTP is a blessing and I pray they continue to advocate for not only the children but the parents too. They have personally kept me from drowning. Thank you Amber, Amanda, and every person there and no longer there for treating my son. His light has gotten brighter!
I took my baby here for torticollis and it was a wonderful experience! Ms. Jordan was knowledgeable and sweet and definitely knows how to work well with babies. If you’re looking for a place to take your little one for physical therapy, I definitely recommend Open Door!
Ms. Jordan was my daughter’s PT and was great! She was very sweet and patient. She helped to get her walking in just a few sessions by encouraging her through play!
We are so happy and grateful for the care we received at Open Door Therapy! Our baby started at 6 months with some concerns of favoring sides and developing unevenly. Our PT, Jordan, was amazing! She noticed things we weren't even looking for and came up with a great care plan. We graduated at 9 months, crawling, pulling up and ready to take off. We are honestly so sad to not see Ms. Jordan weekly because she was so kind, patient and fun. Highly recommend to any parent!
