This place does everything a good a Japanese restaurant should do. We started off with a dynamite roll which was delicious. I usually get those for dessert because they're so good. Then we ordered from the hibachi grill. We shared a filet mignon with shrimp combo with extra eggs on our fried rice. We also got some salmon and a filet mignon. Everything was prepared in front of us with a great show. The chef was masterful in his preparation as well as his storytelling. We had a great time. Everything was flavored well and ready to eat when he served it. If you wanted to use yum yum sauce to really bring out the flavor then you could. If you need some hibachi then this is the place to go or sushi for that matter. I saw a couple of sushi boats go by and they looked amazing. I might have to go back for some of that.
We’ve been regular customers at this restaurant for a long time and genuinely enjoyed eating here. We come often enough that we don’t even need menus—we always order the same things. When the lunch closing time changed from 3:00 to 2:30, we adjusted our schedule to make sure we arrived with enough time to order and eat. Yesterday we arrived around 1:55 p.m., well before the posted 2:30 closing time, and were told at the host stand that they were “closed.” Then we were told they stop taking food orders at 2:00. There is no signage, no notice on the door, and no indication online that last orders are taken earlier than the posted closing time. If food service ends at 2:00, that needs to be clearly communicated. What made this worse was the attitude of the hostess—she was short, abrupt, and unwelcoming. This wasn’t a quick or convenient drive for us, and being turned away like that took time out of our day for no reason. It’s honestly disappointing because we really did enjoy this place, but between the lack of communication and the poor interaction, we’re done. We won’t be returning to this location or any of the others. I’ll also be sharing this experience with coworkers and friends, many of whom regularly eat here and follow our lead on where we order lunch. This kind of inconsistency and treatment is a fast way to lose loyal customers.
The food was incredibly delicious and came out quickly. Everything on the menu looked and tasted amazing. My family and I really enjoyed our time here and will definitely come back!
Came here with my family, and the service was very fast. We came at around 4:45 p.m. and were seated immediately. We each ordered a few things from the sushi menu and it came out within 10 mins. The food was great and the service was good. I gave the atmosphere a 4 only because there are a few things that are outdated, and they seated us all the way at the back, which may be because we had a baby, but either way we kind of felt forgetten at first. Other than that, everything was great, and I would recommend it if you like sushi and hibachi.
