Dave was easy to work with. He explained the process of installing our pool heater and how to optimize it. He was able to work with our pool contractor and be on schedule. He followed up after installation and answered questions while we were getting to know our system. The installation crew was quick, knowledgeable and helpful.
They do good work, but they charged me 400 bucks to replace two PVC elbows and a small leak in the solar panel tubing. There is a previous attachment point that I’m concerned is leaking that was created several years ago by solar source, and it appears it was partially installed with one screw and then was moved probably because it was determined it didn’t hit a truss. See the picture. It’s exactly the same footprint profile of the clamp right next to it. Well, they told me that that’s not what it is and it’s the spacer that you see there that may have slipped down, but that’s not what it is. They charge $199 for a trip charge, but they apply none of it to the repair cost.
The process was very easy and convenient. Mustafa walked me through everything and was very patient while I worked on getting the HOA approval I was anxious about. Once it was obtained, I was scheduled within two weeks. The installation took about three hours, and by the next day...yes, the very next day...my pool was noticeably warmer. So amazing. Thank you!
This is a great company to work with, everything was super organized and well communicated. My sales person Mustafa was an awesome person, he explained to me every little thing in great detail. The overall price was better than the other quotes I got. Their electrical technicians (installers) were awesome guys as well, they did a very professional job. You cannot see a single cable!!!
Nick and the entire staff at Solar Source were great to work with. They provided me with a returning customer discount as well as a couple of other pricing specials. Solar Source worked with us adjusting there schedule due to delays in the construction of our house. The installation team was timely, neat and very professional.
