The food was genuinely very good, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. I really liked the atmosphere, decor, and live music. Unfortunately, the service left a disappointing impression. When I first walked in, I stood near the host stand for a while before anyone acknowledged me. One employee looked at me and simply walked away, while several staff members passed by without saying anything. Even after we were seated, we waited quite a long time before anyone came to our table, despite the restaurant not being busy. I also asked about non-alcoholic cocktails, and the server said she would check with the bar and let me know what they could make. Instead, she later brought a drink to the table without explaining what it was, even though I had not ordered anything yet. When I asked what was in it, she said “I don’t know“ and had to go back and ask the bar. Later, after we ordered food, we were told plates would be brought out, but they seemed to be forgotten until another employee eventually brought them. I normally do not leave negative reviews, and I truly did enjoy the food, but for a restaurant at this price point I expected much more attentive service.

Parking: Valet or street parking. I was lucky enough to find some street parking right outside. Time to Bread: 20 Minutes Time to Appetizers: 40 Minutes Time to Entrees: 1 Hour 10 Minutes I was here with a party of 9 for a celebration dinner and we were seated promptly at 7PM. Great intimate ambiance with chandelier lighting. Service is at a slower pace, but we were also doing some champagne toasts. Complimentary Bread (5/5) In my opinion, the most well executed part of the meal. A giant bread platter is brought forth with sourdough, garlic bread, breadsticks, some kind of onion focaccia, and a few other varieties I didn't try. All of them were unique and paired well with the garlic - oil sauce on the table. Grilled Octopus Alla Sorrentina (2.5/5): Unfortunately, I've had much better octopus before. They need to massage it to make it more tender before grilling. We got octopus with the texture of calamari mixed with heavy grill marks on the suckers. It led to a unique crispy texture but with a burned flavor that I wasn't a fan of. The vegetables were cooked better than the octopus, but quite buttery. Tagliatelle Pasta with Goat Cheese Stuffed Chicken Rollati (3/5): I really enjoyed the texture of the pasta at the restaurant. It did not travel well to home. The goat cheese stuffed chicken was pretty good tasting, but a little too dry. Another dish that was really loaded with butter and oil. Salmon (3.5/5): I tried a friend's salmon dish and found it to be fine, nothing too standout. House Made Tiramisu (4.5/5): Actually a really good tiramisu and the chocolate piece and truffle gave it a nice balance of light and rich. Overall, a really romantic restaurant but their cooking is really reliant on butter. I'd get something light and enjoy the bread if I came back.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The manager was very thoughtful—the tables were all booked up, but he managed to make my family sit in a cozy spot. Additionally, the atmosphere and decorative elements were very nice. Last but not least, the food were delicious and beautiful as expected.

Everything was great but the food. My husband got the spicy Italian sausage pasta with vodka sauce but it had no sausage in it at all..I got the scallops and risotto with saffron cream sauce that tasted like kraft Mac n cheese sauce to me. This is my opinion, maybe it just wasn’t for me. The vodka sauce was good just disappointing there was no meat. Service was outstanding and the restaurant was beautiful! Come try for yourself

Thankyou friend: Sorrento is a beautiful and elegant restaurant that immediately impresses with its warm atmosphere and refined décor. The live piano music adds a special touch, creating a romantic and classy ambiance that makes dinner feel like an occasion. The drinks were a delight; we tried a Cosmopolitan and a Lemon Drop, both of which were crafted with great balance and flavor. Overall, the food was very good; I would rate it around 8.5 out of 10, with dishes prepared carefully and well-presented. For dessert, we ordered the Grand Marnier & Chocolate Soufflé, which unfortunately did not meet our expectations. It lacked the richness and flavor we were hoping for and stood out as the one disappointment of the evening. On the other hand, the service was excellent throughout. The staff was attentive, welcoming, and made sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of from start to finish. Their professionalism made the evening flow smoothly and left us with a very positive impression. Although the soufflé wasn’t to our taste, we left Sorrento with a good overall experience. With its elegant setting, live piano, great drinks, and attentive service, it’s definitely a place we would return to.
