Staff are amazing I had umbilical hernia surgery, and it went flawlessly I was in and out within 4.5 hrs total. The team was super nice and respectful. Hopefully I won’t ever need any more surgeries but if I do this is where I’m going.
The staffing radiology and 2nd floor check in were fabulous! The downstairs lady for check in, not so much. Bathrooms on 2nd floor outpatient is very, old, needs updated. Handicap people struggled with the doors as well. Need a sign to other bathrooms as well, as many couldn't wait for single bathrooms being occupied so long. Signage for more around the corner would have been helpful. It was a smelly day, which made it unpleasant for 4 hours. Also, a couple leaning chairs for elderly or to rest. These 4 hour tests are tiring.
Mr. Council, the security guard, thinks he is real police. He will put warnings on visitor and patient vehicles for no reason. He has an attitude and has taken his position as a rent a cop too serious.
Scheduled two events that needed to be done on the same day as they are time sensitive. I confirmed the appointments and did the pre-check in. The doctor even called me to talk about the appointment. I showed up and waited for over an hour for the first part of the visit. Eventually a nurse came in and told me that they thought something was weird when looking at my chart and realized I wasn’t scheduled for the second part of the visit (different department). They told me this after I was prepped and had been waiting in a bath robe. What if he hadn’t of caught the missing appointment? Would I have completed half a procedure for nothing? Only to come back and have to get it done again because they didn’t schedule the second part? Then they told me that they would call to reschedule but it may be about 2 weeks before they could get me in. Every time new information came to me it was delivered by a different person, mind you. I already waited two weeks for this initial appointment. AVOID at all cost!!! I wasted half a day of PTO on these clowns. Will I be compensated for that? I doubt it! Do you really want to entrust your care to an organization who can’t schedule two back to back appointments? My advice is find another provider.
