We were celebrating my father-in-law’s birthday, and since he appreciates a good steakhouse, this seemed like the perfect choice. It’s been a while since my last visit, but the food quality remains solid. We started with French onion soup, escargot, and the Gorgonzola salad. One nice touch is that they bring a tray of steaks to your table and explain the different cuts, flavor profiles, fat content, and recommended temperatures. It’s a great experience, especially for anyone who enjoys learning more about their steak before ordering. At our table, we ordered the ribeye, porterhouse, and filet mignon. The ribeye was the clear winner when it came to flavor, offering a richer, more robust taste than the other cuts. Service was good, though not quite exceptional. What sets this restaurant apart is its character. This isn’t your typical chain steakhouse—it’s one of the oldest steakhouses in Florida, and you can feel that old-school charm the moment you walk through the doors. A special thank you to manager Addison, who was very hospitable and helped resolve a gift card issue quickly and without any hassle. His assistance made the evening much more enjoyable. Dinner for four came to over $400, so it’s definitely a place for a special occasion rather than an everyday meal. That said, the quality, atmosphere, and history make it a memorable dining experience, and we’ll be back for another celebration.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Okeechobee Steakhouse and left feeling genuinely impressed. From the moment we sat down, the service stood out. One of the most unique touches was that the staff actually brought a tray of the different cuts of steak right to our table. Being able to see the options up close while they explained the differences made the experience feel both personal and elevated. It took the guesswork out of ordering and made it feel like we were getting something truly special. The drinks were fantastic as well. Each one was crafted perfectly and paired beautifully with the meal. You could tell there was real attention to detail behind the bar, and it added another layer to the overall dining experience. The food itself was incredible. The steak was cooked exactly how we requested and was full of flavor—tender, juicy, and clearly high quality. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Another standout moment came at the end of the meal when they brought out their dessert options for us to see. Just like the steak presentation, it made choosing dessert fun and interactive, and the dessert we picked was absolutely worth it. We were celebrating a birthday, and the entire evening felt like the perfect treat. Great food, amazing drinks, and thoughtful service made it a memorable night. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a special dining experience.

Great place!! Steak was cooked to perfection. There was five of us in our party, and each one of our steaks was cooked to our liking. All the sides are separate. Desserts were also very good. Reservations are a must! Not sure why I didn’t take pictures of the steak lol but take my word it was delicious.

This was by far the best dining experience we have ever had in Florida. We drove up from Port Saint Lucie for an intimate dinner to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday and it was the best choice ever! The restaurant is so welcoming and cozy with old school vibes. We got seated in the bar area and Scotty was our server. He never let our drinks run dry and the table never had any used dishes or silverware left on it. The steak board displaying the different meat cuts was so fun to help navigate the menu. The dessert board that he brought over at the end of our meal was beautiful, definitely have to save room for that next time! 10/10 service, 10/10 atmosphere and 20/10 food. We cannot wait to visit again!
