I’ve had some excellent experiences at Malakor Thai Cafe, and it has quickly become one of my favorite Thai spots in the area. The Panang Curry was absolutely amazing, rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. On another visit, we tried the Pad Thai and the Thai Crispy Duck. If you think you don’t like duck, this dish will change your mind, it was beautifully crisped and incredibly delicious. The only dish that didn’t fully meet expectations was the whole fish with seafood. I was hoping for more fish, but it turned out to be mostly bones. That said, everything else has been consistently great. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is outstanding, attentive, friendly, and efficient. Overall, a fantastic spot for Thai food in West Palm Beach. Highly recommended!
We chanced upon this place while driving through the area. It is not in a shopping center or anything, just off the street so easy to miss. We read the reviews and decided to give it a shot. We were able to find parking on the street across the restaurant as we were there around 5:15 pm on a Saturday. They have a small parking lot but it looked full. We got outdoor seating and I highly recommend this for the full experience as they have a very cute outdoor area. I ordered Thai basil tofu and vegan gyoza, both were awesome the vegan gyoza was a pleasant surprise, it didn’t taste greasy at all. My husband ordered chu chee curry with deep fried snapper. Patio seating is must. We got spice levels 3-4 and they were perfect, thought coconut tends to ramp down the spice so keep this in mind. Service was fast, the staff was pleasant and attentive! They even brought out little tabletop fly fans when they noticed I swatted away a fly. We can’t wait to come back with friends and family!
Wow 🤯 10 stars ⭐️ if I could! This place was phenomenal I’m so sad I didn’t get to dine here at least twice during my trip. I found this place on google of course & it didn’t disappoint! The atmosphere and greenery outside was beautiful! We didn’t have a reservation so it was inside only seating - which is fine I never chose to sit outside if inside is available (😝) Everyone was very attentive 1 waiter seemed more rushed than the other but still good! We ordered apps, spring rolls & steamed dumplings & our entrees we had orange chicken & masaman curry with pork. Everything tasted delicious! 🤤 10/10, no notes lol. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves Thai food.
My dad was visiting and we had to try something on the bucket list. Malakor is so cute and off the beaten path in west palm. I love the back outside area and can see myself coming here for meals alone whenever. This is a really chill place with kind staff and great food.
With its friendly staff, delicious entrees, and vibrant atmosphere, dinner at Malakor was a tremendous hit—especially after a chilly afternoon at the beach. I highly recommend the Thai dumplings, papaya salad, and salmon curry. The dishes were delicious and warming. Our server was very helpful with the outdoor heating lamps and extra dishware so we could share our entrees. The outdoor lighting made for a fun and welcoming atmosphere. From start to finish, the experience at Malakor was nothing short of wonderful. I highly recommend a visit.
