I loved using Daltile in a past kitchen project, so I was open to choosing Daltile again for my primary bathroom remodel. I was extremely fortunate to be connected with Kinsey Laugermann when I called the Daltile Richmond location, looking for design advice. Not only does Kinsey have wonderful taste, but she is warm, personable, and fun to work with. From the first phone call, I knew I was in good hands. At our showroom appointment, Kinsey listened, was supportive, and she had great ideas. She knows Daltile's products well, and she suggested some different tiles that were so much better than what I had first considered. Since then, she has been responsive to multiple emails, questions, and requests for samples. Every suggestion and piece of advice has held so much wisdom. Questions I would have grappled with for ages, she has offered sound reasoning and reassurance. Thanks to Kinsey, I have confidence in the tile selection, and I am excited to start the project. It was so worth the drive from Katy! Thank you, Kinsey and Daltile, for a stellar experience choosing tile for my primary bathroom remodel!
I just had the most incredible experience at the Daltile, Marazzi Showroom & Design Studio today, thanks entirely to the phenomenal Pamela Griffin! From the moment I walked in, Pamela was an absolute rockstar. She greeted me with the warmest smile, which immediately put me at ease. I had so many questions and was trying to visualize a lot of different options, and Pamela handled it all with such grace and expertise. She didn't hesitate to bring out every single tile I had a question on, patiently laying them out and helping me see how they'd look. What truly impressed me was how much time she took to walk me through all the different grout options, explaining the nuances and helping me find the perfect match for each tile. Her knowledge and dedication made what could have been an overwhelming process feel genuinely enjoyable and productive. Pamela is a true professional and a gem! Her helpfulness and willingness to go the extra mile made all the difference. If you're visiting this showroom, definitely ask for Pamela – she's simply the best! Thank you, Pamela, for being so amazing today!
We remodeled our bathroom two years ago, and at the suggestion of our contractor, purchased our tile from Daltile. After consulting with the sales reps (and letting them know that we were shopping for tile that would go in the shower), we settled on marble for the shower floors and walls. They assured us that we would have no problem with discoloration as long as the tile was properly sealed. Three months after installation, the tiles began turning yellow. We called to report the issue and they sent a person out to inspect the tile. He was shocked by the level of discoloration after such a short amount of time and noted that it didn't appear to be due to faulty installation. He indicated that it was most likely due to the natural iron deposits in the stone rusting from exposure to moisture. Well, why on earth didn't Daltile's so called "tile experts" caution us against using marble in the shower when we consulted with them?! Daltile's solution to our problem was to recommend a tile restoration company that quoted us $3,000 to clean the tile - with no guarantees that it would remove the discoloration. Two years and $20k later, we're facing another bathroom remodel to remove the discolored tiles. We will not be using Daltile.
Marnie was very helpful in making selections for the house we are building and made everything very easy. Highly recommend visiting her.
Helpful on selection but unimpressed with hours. They need to be better about updating on google. Drove out on Friday and Saturday to update an order and there was no indication they were closed, online/door/phone message.
