We ate pretty late so we were lucky to find them open. Most every other place was closed already. We really enjoyed the meal and everything about this restaurant. The atmosphere was great on the patio, lots of people but not really crowded, just very lively. The bar was popular and happening also. Food was great. Lots of good burgers to choose from and the fries and tots were really good also. And so were the nachos. The wait staff was super friendly and helpful. Great experience.
Universal Joint is the perfect place to enjoy some delicious bites on their comfortable patio. The server welcomed me right away & brought a big water bowl for my dogs. I ordered the brisket dip (I requested well done). It was very flavorful. I happened to be there at 4:00 when happy hour started so I enjoyed a nice glass of white wine that was on special. Their HH menu has great deals, we will definitely be back.
Good burgers and fries that really hit the spot. The outdoor seating area is a great place to relax, especially when the weather is nice. It has a laid back atmosphere that makes it an easy place to hang out for a casual meal. The service was a little slow during our visit, but the staff was still friendly and the food came out hot and fresh. Overall a solid spot if you are in the mood for a burger and want to enjoy sitting outside.
I ordered the blackened fish tacos with a side of sweet potato fries, and spicy egg rolls as an appetizer. The sweet potato fries were really good. The fish tacos were kind of flavorless and soggy. The egg rolls were strange—basically chicken salad in an egg roll—they were alright, though.
We live in Spartanburg and needed a quick bite before heading back home and we came across this place. We were happy that they are dog friendly too. Alyssa was our waitress and she was super nice. My husband’s chicken tenders were fried too hard so he ordered wings. The manager took care of the bill and we wasn’t expecting that because my food was good. They both were so kind and generous. We will definitely go back!
