⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My sister and I went to Uptown Cheapskate Greenville a few days ago and had such a great experience! The manager was super helpful, the staff was friendly, and the whole store was organized so nicely. Everything being color coordinated made it so easy to find stuff, and the store was clean and put together overall. They have really cute finds and great deals. I definitely spent more money than I planned 😂 but it was worth it. I’ll definitely be back. If you love shopping and good vibes, go ahead and treat yourself!
I brought in very nice, mostly unworn shoes and several dresses. They offered me $11 for two items and said they have to be “selective” of the shoes, so didn’t want any of them. I donated the items as there was so many that I brought in that I didn’t want the hassle. I will never be back. The staff was less than friendly, and not about customer service.
I had a very easy process of selling some golf shirts to Upscale Cheapskate. I checked in and gave them my shirts to look at. I left the store to run some other errands. I got an offer about 45 minutes later. When I got back to the store about 90 minutes later, one of the salespeople had me sign for my cash and gave me back the shirts that the store did not buy. I was in the store fewer than 5 minutes both times. The staff was friendly and professional even though it was a busy Saturday. I was very happy with my experience at Upscale Cheapskate and I will be back in the future.
The staff was really rude and unwelcoming. I brought a whole bag with brands such as lulu, free people, athleta, and a very nice Columbia jacket. They offered me 13 dollars for 4 items. Very disappointed especially coming from getting 30-50 dollars a bag at the Clemson location. Would drive the hour to Clemson to avoid this again.
Love Uptown Cheapskate! The store is always clean and easy to look through, and they have a really good selection of cute, trendy clothes for great prices. The staff is friendly and gives great customer service. the selling process is quick and straightforward. I almost always find something when I stop in, and the deals are hard to beat. Definitely one of my go-to thrift stores
